"I would highly recommend Paul Gaspar and his team of PT professionals. I broke my ankle in 2014 and the other ankle in 2021. I also was in a car accident in 2017. Due to Paul and his staff working with me off and on for 12 years for different injuries and with various treatments; I now work out four days a week, walk a 60 lbdog weekdays and I am leading a fairly active life. When I developed Congestive Heart failure, Paul and his team developed breathing exercises for me to do at their clinic and also at home. "2 years ago I had post surgery complications from cervical fusion. Specifically, both of my arms were partially paralyzed. I worked with Paul 3x per week for months as he helped me regain movement. Over time I reduced my therapy to once per week and ultimately was released. Today my arms have full movement although I am still recovering strength and neck movement. None of this would have happened without Paul's dedication and assistance of many of his staff who were always supportive, encouraging and friendly. Thank you Team Gaspar Encinitas."

My PT listened well to my updates each time i met with him and remembered our past conversations as he continued to fine tune my program over the length of my visits. The receptionists there were also easy to work with, in setting up future appointments and in making changes over the phone when necessary. "This is not only the best physical therapy clinic I’ve ever experienced (I’ve been to many), but they supersede almost all doctors/facilities I’ve been to in the past 30+ years. Not only do they understand the physical and biological mechanics, but they understand complex autonomic and other nervous system issues that can prevent/impede healing. They go outside the box and have things like vagus nerve stimulators, see the person as a whole (IYKYK that’s counter to W Med), help you feel seen and heard (not gaslighting you like most docs), and authentically take time with their patients. I love that Aerial has a background in yoga, and has such a calm, caring, healing energy; knowing the appropriate time to introduce certain modalities. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how Paul has shown me a level of care and concern for my issues unlike anyone I’ve encountered - an empathy and understanding I’ve never witnessed in the medical system. "This good? I have seen Gina Gerber for physical therapy for various issues over the last couple of years and followed her to Gaspar Solana Beach. She has been the most helpful and effective pt I've had over the years, never just going through the motions, always cheerful and caring. She is very knowledgeable and when something new comes up is willing to put in the time and effort to research new potential exercises that continue to help me to progress. I had never been able to do a squat or lunge due to recurring knee problems over 30 years, and can now, at 65 years old, do 3 sets of 15 (with weights even) due to the progressive course of exercises she painstakingly laid out for me. I broke my arm and developed terrible back and neck pain due to my unwise decision to keep exercising just one side of my body and Gina helped me figure out exactly where the pains were originating and develop a series of exercises to bring me back to full strength and allow me to swim pain free again. She's also helped me with back and foot pain issues. In fact, I have an entire spreadsheet of helpful exercises from Gina for whenever I start to experience a setback and also an understanding from her of where the problem might be originating from, usually not where I would have thought. Gina has really helped me to stay active and pain free as I have aged and been a great resouce to making sure problems don't reoccur."

"Hello I saw Aeriel for my 1st appointment. Then Cat for several appointments with Courtney picking up the last few appointments herself. They are all great!!! I'd like to recommend Courtney to hire at Gaspar. She is graduating from her program and is taking her test in early October to finish up. She is very personable, listens to patient inputs and demonstrates proper techniques to take home to do exercises. She gently corrects technique when needed. Straightening out foot - when doing laying down foot slide with stretching strap. It was very helpful having print outs of all the exercises to do them at hope correctly. She went online & printed out exactly what I needed to order - a stretch strap with loops. I hope you will consider hiring her. Thank You!"

She takes time to explain the treatment and uses models to show you what’s going on in the pelvic area which I found to be very informative and helpful when doing exercises as I was able to picture in my mind the muscles that need work. During treatment she checks in often which I appreciated and my issues are on the mend. I recommend her for anyone with pelvic pain and other pelvic problems."

"For two+ years I finally have relief! I had been misdiagnosed but Matt could see the actual problem. A few targeted exercises and I'm almost good as new."

"I’ve had several problems with neck pain and even had surgery to remove 4 deteriorating discs and perform a neck fusion. Over the years, neck pain increased again and after several tests it was determined that I would need a similar surgery on another part of my neck and a fusion at the top of my neck which would permanently prevent me from moving my neck which was frightening to me. Plus, I have congestive heart failure which at my advanced age would make the surgery a more serious situation. So , I decided against surgery and began physical therapy with Dr. Gaspar for my heart as well as my neck. The results for the neck therapy have been astounding!! I am now able to move my neck almost to the point of when the pain first started which needless to say has been a miracle!! I have also increased my overall strength with exercises which Dr. Gaspar has recommended. I cannot emphasize how grateful I am to Dr. Gaspar for helping me avoid surgery and bringing joy back into my life which had begun to fade because of so much pain. If I lay down anywhere & tried to turn over, it caused the verge of a muscle spasm and felt like I was being stabbed. "I went to Gaspar following a labral reconstruction in my hip at the age of 29, feeling pretty down because I'd heard a lot of horror stories about the outcomes from that surgery. Paul and Eddie immediately got to work, pushing me to do as much as I was allowed to do, but still being careful to make sure I wasn't overdoing it and creating additional problems like tendinitis. One of the first things Paul suggested was that I start doing aquatic therapy, since I was partial weight bearing for 6 weeks and limited in what I could do on land, so I saw Paul twice a week in the office and Kai/Summer twice a week at the pool. It was clearly effective, because when I saw my surgeon for my 6-week post-op appointment, he was impressed by my progress and said I was doing better than any of his labral reconstruction patients, and even doing better than a lot of his labral repair patients, who would typically recover more quickly. Paul and Eddie (and the team at the pool) made me actually look forward to PT. Paul's magic hands always helped me loosen up a tight hip flexor or glute, and Eddie kept the exercises interesting so I was never bored. At 14 weeks post-op, I have had no complications and don't even notice my hip anymore in my daily life, and I can jump or run to cross the street with no pain. I am so grateful to Paul and Eddie for the AMAZING PT--I know I wouldn't be feeling so good without them."
